April 17, 2012 by admin in Collaborations

POPPYN #7 Youth Philly Producers spotlights young creative entrepreneurs around Philadelphia and gives tips on how to be a better consumer of local culture! Includes a sneak

peek into POPPYN’s own production process.

The Viewing party at Circle of Hope in Kensington on April 12, was a great example of how media can build strong youth networks.

From the POPPYN Blog:

“We were BLOWN AWAY by the talent & swag represented at the event, featuring amazing poets from Voices in Power, young hip-hop artists from Honickman center’s HYPE program, local musicans Yung Dollaz and E-Hos, singers, screen printers and artists from the Art Factory and Prodigies and Philly party dancers from New Money Ent.! We were inspired and left with new connections and an expanded sense of community among the different groups!
