In this episode POPPYN explores local programs in the city that empower youth through music and analyzes issues in music.

Organizations featured in this episode:

Jr. Music Executive (JME) is an organization that teaches young people about the music industry.
Girls Rock Philly (GRP) is a music and mentoring organization for girls

and women in Philadelphia.
Hip Hop Heritage is an after-school and summer program that teaches high school

students the art of the djay, graffiti, breakdance, voice and video production. This program is run by the nonprofit Southeast Asian Mutual Assistance Associations Coalition (SEAMAAC).
