With Project Stipend support from PYMC, BPA is working with 2 youth producers to produce a promotional video for the Philadelphia Youth Media Collaborative.
We are planning to create a direct address style video of youth media makers speaking about the importance of youth media and how making media affects and empowers them. The video will loudly promote the significance of youth media by youth media makers themselves. We have high expectations for this video as a promotional tool that PYMC can employ as well as a potential spark for a larger national conversation about youth media.
We (the production team) want to achieve this by involving the people who are directly impacted by youth media and the outcome of this promo project: (YOU)TH!
We will be staging two shoots at PhillyCam on Wednesday June 5th and Friday June 7th from 3-6 pm.
We would love to get new voices involved in these awesome programs and we’re enlisting the help of current youth members; we believe that if you share
your insights we can raise support for programs like yours. If you value your PYMC experience, show it off by telling us why you love YOUR youth media program. Help us put together youth-created media in support of youth media… keep the practice alive!
Please spread the word & Look out for the flyer we’re sending out next week!
